My good friend and photographer of most of the photos for this site, Lisa M. Hamilton, has finally put up her own website. This is one of many photos she took for me.

If you are ever in need of a photographer or just appreciate good photos, I highly recomend her. But don’t take my word for it, her work speaks for itself. She’s a damn fine writer and a cool person, too.

  1. I really enjoyed my dinner at Incanto tonight–calves’ brains with porcini, spaghettini with bottarga, and the nocino-apple tart. The server brought me some of your nudge-nudge-wink-wink “lighter fluid” and tomorrow I’ll stop by with a bottle of my own–green walnuts from Jim Haag in Stanislaus County, Smirnoff 100 proof etc. A little sweeter and more viscous than yours–I hope you and the staff like it.
